Dozens of lives have been lost, and many properties have been destroyed in recent days.
Among those who died, some were minding their business, one person in Enugu was even in his home, but they all died regardless, stray bullets hit and killed them.
People ask, why do the innocent die?
But it’s not a question of who’s innocent and who’s sinful. It’s a call for sober reflection.
Jesus, speaking about the wicked killings of Pilate (a political leader), and the deaths caused by the collapse of a tower in His time, made this clear.
We’re in such a time again. A time for sober reflection and repentance. Reflect on yourself, family, the youths, the leaders, the recent events, the nation, and you’ll see that there’s a lot to repent of.
“1. There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2. And Jesus answered and said to them, “Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things?
3. I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.
4. Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem?
5. I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.”Luke 13:1-5.
There’s mercy, but we must repent. There’s salvation, but we must believe.
Jesus is still saving souls, forgiving sins, and granting eternal life.
Do you believe?

God bless you.
