Yes! Satan is the same person as Lucifer. Satan (the accuser) is who he is now, but Lucifer or Heylel (the shining one, the morning star) was who he was before he fell from light to darkness.
This name or title ‘Heylel or ‘Lucifer’ which means ‘the shining one’ or ‘the morning star’ may just be one of his several titles before his fall. He may and most likely have had other titles and names that we don’t know of. But we know that the person the Bible describes as Lucifer (Heylel) is the same person known as Satan, Isaiah 14:12-15.
