Jesus reveals to us that one thing Satan does very well, one thing he is very proficient at, one thing that comes naturally to him is lying. He is even called the father of lies. It means no one does it better. This is his greatest weapon—the ability to lie and deceive. That is why our greatest weapon against him is the truth.

This is why it is dangerous to engage in any form of discussion with Satan, you might end up buying his lies. It is better to know the truth, believe the truth, and speak the truth. Jesus Christ is the truth, the Word of God is the truth. Don’t believe or accept anything contrary to the Word of God, no matter how reasonable it sounds, you may be buying the lies of Satan.
