Is Satan More Powerful Than Angels?

Q: Is Satan more powerful than angels?

Angelic beings vary in strength, and each one is strong and mighty according to his design and/or ordination from God, 1 Cor 15:41 (stars can represent angels in scripture). As individual beings, Satan and his hosts have their strengths and weaknesses, they have their might and limits individually. And because all angelic beings are not all on the same rank (kind/design) or for the same purpose, (ordination), their level of power, glory, strength, wisdom and might differ. Satan is stronger than some of God’s angels, and some of God’s angels are stronger than he is, Jude 1:9.

So then, an angel of God is not automatically stronger than all evil angels; consider how Gabriel was held hostage by a prince of Satan (not even Satan himself) and that he needed aid from Michael, Daniel 10:13, 20. But then also, Satan as an individual is not stronger than all of God’s angels; consider how Satan would be bound by just an angel—just one angel, Rev 20:1-3. Again Satan and his army are not stronger than God’s angelic army; consider how Michael and his angels defeated the dragon (Satan) and his angels, Rev 12:7-9.
