Q: Will Satan ever defeat God?

If Satan was given a million lifetimes and a billion more angels, he still stands no chance. We understand that the thought of the reality of God makes them tremble, James 2:19. Understand that Satan is a created being, Ezekiel 28:15, and he too was created by the Word, John 1:1-3, Colossians 1:16. Just as a fish can never win against the ocean, even so can Satan never win against the Word. It’s impossible.

For a moment, imagine that you created the universe and everything in it. Imagine that Satan is part of your creation, could he ever stand a chance of defeating you? No. All you have to do is speak a word, and even if all of your creations team up against you, they will still fail. 

God Himself will never contend with Satan, when the time comes, God will send just one angel, and he will arrest and bind Satan. Satan has power, but he is not half as powerful as he would like the world to think. Revelation 20:1-3.
